First, make sure your DVD disc is not scratched, damaged, and your DVD-ROM is functioning. Even a DVD movie can be played by the DVD player, it doesn’t necessary mean that it can be read by AVex. Unlike normal playback disc reading, the spinning speed during converting/recording will still be maximized, thus causing the disc unreadable by AVex. If the problematic DVD movies are brand new, try converting the same DVD movie on another DVD-ROM(preferred new DVD-ROM), see if it is caused by the DVD-ROM. If it can be read by the other DVD-ROM, then you should replace your old DVD-ROM with another one. Please open AVex program, go to menu “Options”, click “DVD Settings”, modify the DVD Setting as any ONE of the following Combination, but don’t mix them up, e.g., don’t mix Cyberlink Audio Decoder with Nero Video Decoder: DVD Navigator: Microsoft DVD Navigator Audio Decoder: AC3Filter Video Decoder: MpegDecoder012 DVD Navigator: Microsoft DVD Navigator Audio Decoder: Cyberlink Audio Video Deco
