A. There are many reasons why this problem may occur but the main one is probably because CorelDraw does not properly write out the header file when exporting a PS or EPS with the Include Fonts option selected. Although this option should be used because it creates a much smaller and cleaner file then exporting with Text as Curves, you must correct the header bug in the exported Postscript file before using it in ArcInfo. Note that most Postscript interpreters ignore this bug (i.e. if you view this Postscript with GhostView) and can handle the exported Postscript but ArcInfo’s Postscript interpreter is very meticulous. To fix this problem, once you have exported your Postscript with Include Fonts from CorelDraw, open the ConvertCRLF utility. Add the Postscript to the list using the Add files to list button. Click once on the file you have just added in the Input files: listing to highlight it. Select the Unix option in the Choose output format section and click OK to convert the file.
