The electrodes are made of Platinum / Titanium. The electrodes are composed of solid Titanium with a dip-treatment Platinum baked, which is the standard in our water ionizer. Titanium is used because it is extremely hard. The platinum is baked, not electroplated, on to the titanium. Platinum is used because it is an excellent conductor. Our water ionizer use titanium platinum-baked electrodes as it will last indefinitely.
