The Poker Bot is working. But why doesn’t the poker bot win all the time?
The poker pot is an extremely sophisticated little calculating tool that has its own algorithms that makes a best guess as to what the right play should be at any point in the game. The right play is not always what we humans would intuitively play. Ultimately, the poker bot relies on two important factors to ensure you end up the winner: the law of probability and time. The longer and more consistently the poker bot is playing, the higher the likelihood that you will come out well ahead as the winner. So if you run the poker bot for shorter durations, you may not experience a consistent winning streak. It’s sort of like if you flip a coin, the odds that it will land heads or tails is 50/50. If you flipped it four times, you may get lucky and get four heads in a row. However, the law of probability still applies to each coin flip. Indeed if you flipped the coin another 96 times (let’s say), then you’ll probably get close to 50/50 on heads or tails, even though there may be some streaks
