30% should be fine. If you can move the battery around to shift the CG then that would be a good thing to do at the field after test flying the plane at 30%. If you cant move the battery then you may want to take some stick-on weights and adjust that way. Once you find where the CG is best, do whatever to make it permanent. Hopefully you can move things to lock it in but if not then glue weight in as necessary. Dont stress about it. Airplanes are tolerant of CG changes within reason. As long as youre not behind 35% or forward of 25% it will be controllable.
