The Plan Benefits list $1,000 Trip Interruption Coverage – what does that provide?
Trip Interruption Coverage provides up to $1,000 for Meals, Lodging and Transportation if your vehicle experiences a mechanical failure that is covered by the Factory Warranty or the Service Contract and the vehicle is more than 100 miles away from the primary address. The coverage provides you with options – you can elect to wait until the vehicle is repaired and use the Lodging and Meals portion of the coverage or you can continue with your trip and purchase airline tickets or rent a vehicle and use the Transportation portion of the coverage. You must contact Chrysler Service Contracts when the failure occurs and submit receipts for reimbursement after repairs are performed.
