The original plans for Eskaton Village Placerville included apartments for independent living. Why has that residential option been removed from the community?
Responses to direct mail questionnaires and the focus group discussions indicated very strong interest in patio home ownership and only a slight interest in apartment rental. In response to consumer interest, for-purchase condominiums will be an additional residential option. Assisted living and memory care services were an important feature of the community to nearly all of the respondents, and the Lodge will provide both service levels.
