After you’ve filled out the web hosting request form you will be contacted by Information Technology with instructions on how to connect to your web site. You may choose to use a web development software application such as DreamWeaver which will enable you to create and post files. Or, you may choose to write your HTML code using a basic text editor and post your files using a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) program, available for both Macintosh and Window-based computers.
