Either calculate your GPA without weighting the courses or have a counseler or adviser do it. Unweighted GPAs are entered into the scoring, and then points are added to reflect honors, AP, IB and college courses taken. Do not assume a GPA over 4.0 translates to a 4.0. A 4.0 GPA should mean that the nominee has had straight A’s throughout high school.
