The Nokia Map Loader does not recognize the mobile device I connected through USB, nor the memory card with the Nokia Maps application in my card reader. What should I do?
Start the Nokia Maps application on your mobile device at least once and make sure that it has established an online connection to the map data server before you try to transfer map data with the Nokia Map Loader. With this first start of the application, a cookie is created and stored on the memory card; this file is necessary for the Nokia Map Loader to recognize the memory card. After the first start of the Nokia Maps application within your mobile device, you can either connect your mobile device through USB with your PC or insert the card into your card reader connected to your PC. Note that when using Nokia Maps on a Nokia N70 (or any other Symbian Series 60 2nd Edition mobile device) to transfer map data to your mobile device, you need to take the memory card out of your mobile device and insert it into a card reader connected to your PC. Start the Nokia Map Loader to transfer the required map data onto your memory card. On these mobile devices it is not possible to transfer map
