A. The final rule on the new EVMS DFARS clauses was published in the Federal Register on April 23, 2008. The new clauses (252.234-7001 for solicitations and 252.234-7002 for contracts) shall be applied to newly awarded DoD contracts effective immediately. Existing contracts that contain the previous clauses (252.242-7001 and 252.242-7002) do not require modification to apply the new clauses.
