No. The disc numbering (disc 1, disc 2, etc.) is merely our convention for labeling the discs. When you open a Ninth House course, eSeries® episode, or Instant Advice® module, you will be asked to insert a specific disc (identified by the disc number) into your CD-ROM drive. For example, when you open the High Impact Hiring course, the following message will appear on your screen: “Please Insert: Disc 6.” Additionally, the disc numbering is useful for first-time users of the Ninth House Network, whoin order to access all of the content and features availablemust install as many as two browser plug-ins the first time they log on. The Ninth House Network automatically detects which plug-ins must be installed and provides on-screen installation instructions. Any needed browser plug-ins can be installed from disc 1, as noted in the on-screen instructions. Once the needed plug-ins are installed, new users are free to explore the Ninth House Network.
