The MP3/MP4 player is showing a “Disk error” message. How do I format the disk to correct this problem?
NOTE: This procedure will complete erase all files on the player, including all music and video files. 1. Connect the player to the USB port of the computer using the cable supplied with the player. 2. Double click the “My Computer” icon on the computer’s desktop or in the Start menu. 3. Right click on the “Removable Disk” that represents the player in the “My Computer” window. 4. Click “Format…” on the pop-up menu that appears. 5. Set “File System” to “FAT”, not “FAT32”. 6. Click “Start” to complete formatting.
