The motion detectors arent detecting any movement. What should I do?
– Ensure that the motion detectors were previously programmed in section 5.0 and 5.1 of the manual. You should have also programmed the senor type in section 4.0 to 4.7. When programming the motion detectors as described in sections 5.0 and 5.1, ensure you are pressing the black tamper switch inside the detector until the system beeps. If the system beeps and indicates it was programmed, ensure the motion detectors are sitting upright, not sideways or upside down. They should be facing straight ahead or angled slightly down towards the ground. (Not straight down or directly at the ceiling.) When the cover is off the motion detector, the battery is at the top and the tamper switch is at the bottom. It should be noted that there are two lenses on the motion detectors. Both lenses need to be free of any obstructions as they are both necessary for proper use. Placing a motion detector on a desk for testing may block a lens and cause the motion detector to malfunction.
