If you call the office within 96 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) of receipt of the citation, a meter checked will be completed. If the meter was malfunctioning for any reason, the citation will be administratively excused. If the meter is checked and it was determined that the meter was functioning properly at the time, the citation will have to be paid or you can request a court date be set-up to appear before a judge. If your appeal is denied and you wish to appear before a judge click here.
