The main control console screen of CE-Secure mentions “Continuous Encryption”. What’s that?
The term “Continuous Encryption” is used in CE-Secure to emphasis that data stored in an encrypted Vault is always encrypted in that Vault, even when the Vault is unlocked. For instance, suppose you have and external data storage device attached to your computer and it has a CE-Secure Vault on it. You proceed to unlock the Vault and are working on the data. A bad person runs by and grabs the external data storage device and makes off. Even though the Vault was open and you were working on the Vault at the time it was grabbed, the bad person will not be able to access the data on the device because it is still encrypted at full strength!
