The longest fence in the world is 3,437 miles long. Where is it?
What is the world’s longest fence? It is in Southern Australia. Those southern Australians must really hate rabbits. They built a 5,614 KM fence from Jimbour in Queensland to the Great Australian Bight separating themselves from Northern Australia, just to keep those pesky vermin out. Know as the Wild Dog Fence or Dingo Fence, it now keeps Dingoes away from sheep flocks. The Fence is 6 feet high and goes 1 foot under ground.
