The interviewer has selected a household member aged under 18. Is parental consent required?
If the randomly selected person is aged 16 or 17 and still living with parent(s) or guardian(s), parental consent will be required. The interviewer will inform you of this and must ensure that they receive parental consent before any questions can be asked. The interviewer will also ask for written permission from a parent or guardian before conducting interviews with 11-15 year olds.
