The initial capacity of the new high school is similar to the current high school enrollment. How does that alleviate the overcrowding we are facing with our existing facilities?

Phase I of the new high school will house up to 1700 students. Our current high school has 1500 students. This 200 student gap will give us enough breathing room to get us to Phase II (approximately five years) of the construction plan.
