Mathematically, you could extrapolate and use a ratio/proportion problem to solve for the unknown concentration. Clinically, you cannot report out values that are not from an area of the curve you, or a manufacturer, has validated. In this situation, you could give the health care provider a preliminary report that the result is greater than 600 but you will have to dilute the sample and rerun the assay to get a final accurate result to report.
