Yes. The chiropractor may submit a variance request to request treatment beyond what is recommended under the Guidelines, but must document that the patient is continuing to show objective functional improvement which include, but are not limited to, positional tolerances, range of motion, strength, endurance, activities of daily living, cognition, psychological behavior, and efficiency/velocity measures which can be quantified.
