The bid item for “Polymer Slurry” includes the cost of materials, labor, and any other costs associated with providing slurry required to reduce degradation of shales as described in the “Drilled Shaft General Notes” and as directed by the Engineer. Any slurry used during overburden excavation or at the Contractor’s option will be incidental to the drilled shafts.
