The GAIN data use certification states that I need to submit research objectives, design, and a brief analysis plan. How do I submit these attachments with my request?
Input the text of the research statement and non-technical summary at step 1. Perform the PDF upload at step 5 (after specific data sets are selected in step 3). Please note that NHLBI substantially reduced the required supplemental data with the release of Framingham version 3 in July. Details of the current requirements are in the Instructions for accessing NHLBI project datasets, which is available as a .pdf online (a link to this .pdf is available near the top of the SHARe study page in the “Important links to apply for individual-level data” section).
