This product has a thermal protection circuit that cuts forces for the motor when the motor reaches a certain temperature. The high level of forces, or types of forces, generated by some games can activate this thermal protection circuit and thus forces are lost. As work around you can try reduce the force level in the game (e.g. reduce from 100% settings to 80% settings). Problem on Windows® 98SE with DirectX 8.1b WingMan® Force™ (USB) or WingMan® Formula™ Force (USB) may not function correctly after the system resumes from a suspend state. All the axes and buttons are not responding in games or in the Games Control Panel. The problem is due to a recent change in behavior of DirectX. We acknowledge the problem and it is being evaluated. Workaround Solution: There are couple solutions to the problem.
