Yes, the PFWG is open to suggestions and can make changes, but please make those suggestions soon. We already have implementations out there which use ARIA. But by all means, if something is awful there’s a good chance we can change it (or already have in an unreleased working draft). Please use the wai-xtech mailing list (described below) to provide feedback.
