The FE-280 features Perfect Shot Preview. What is it, and how does it work?
Perfect Shot Preview is a GUIDE mode function that eliminates the need to take several test shots and then choose the best one to keep. Using a live, multi-frame window on the LCD, you can preview the effects of various settings and then select the best one to use when shooting. The camera then adjusts the necessary settings automatically; there is no need to enter the menu system and make the changes. To use the preview, turn the Mode dial to GUIDE. The Shooting Guide menu is displayed. Shoot w/ effects preview. is selected by default. Press the Right Arrow or the [OK] button to view the preview options. The LCD screen will be split into four frames, each using different settings to display a live view of the subject. Use the arrow pad to select the one that looks most pleasing to your eye, and then press [OK] to activate the selection. The camera will shoot images with these settings until new selections are made or the Mode Dial is turned to another shooting mode.
