With temperature setting, the fan will run about 30 seconds without heat once the set temperature is reached. This is to blow out excess heat and ensure an accurate and consistent temperature reading. 4. If cool air comes out of the heater after it has been reset, then the heater may need to be replaced, as it may not be working properly.
