The faculty athletics representative told me that I was awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Why wasn I notified, and how do I get the money?
A.After the regional selection committees select finalists, notification is sent to the person from your institution who submitted the nomination.A copy of that letter is sent to the student-athlete at the address for notification from the nomination form. With the student-athlete’s copy of the letter are several documents, including an acceptance form and a certification of enrollment form. The acceptance form must be signed and returned within two months of notification. The certification of enrollment form initiates payment of the scholarship to the graduate school. This completed form should be mailed to the NCAA national office several weeks before you want the scholarship fundssent to your graduate school.
