Tampa Electric will not be exposed to “scale-up” risk. The proposed plant will be two separate gasifiers, each very similar to the current unit, supplying synthesis gas to two combustion turbines which will exhaust into two heat recovery steam generators, which will supply steam to a single steam turbine.
