The eBay Choice Listings policy – what is permitted?
• In most cases, eBay prohibits sellers of pre-made products to allow buyers to choose from a selection of items. Such “choice listings” can be problematic because of the potential for fee circumvention, transactions outside of eBay and other issues. Choice listings are generally not allowed and will be ended. The Insertion Fee will be automatically credited for that listing. • Services are a notable exception from the Choice Listing policy. Listings may offer custom-made items or services that are created or customized to the buyer’s specification such as made to order clothing. Sellers that list custom-made items or other services in the Specialty Services category may include a list of available options in the item description (e.g. colors, fabrics, sizes).
