The Dryer Max Lint Removal Kit: Does It Work?
This week’s Does It Work may unsettle the dust and lint lurking in your clothes dryer. It is called the Dyer Max Lint Removal Kit. We’ll try it on my dryer at home because I notice that every other day, I am pulling out a handful of lint from my lint trap. This product claims to cut your drying time, increase performance and prolong dryer life. You get a vacuum hose attachment, a ten foot long dryer vent duct brush and a three foot lint trap brush. The instructions explain how to use all of the tools. To use the lint trap brush, you have turn it like a screw driver. You start from bottom to the top and then pull out the brush. I noticed not a whole lot of lint on the brush. But because I pulled out some lint, I gave it another whirl until the brush came out clean. So far, so good. Next, I used the round vent duct brush. It was easy to clean the duct connection at the back of the dryer. But noticed the hose was a little different. I had difficulty pushing the brush through the hose. Wit
