The display on my NAV-401L or NAV-402AP doesn’t light up. What’s wrong?

This problem usually occurs because the display has been turned off. The Counter Mode Switch also doubles as the ON/OFF switch for the display. Pushing the Counter Mode Switch in and out will cause the display to turn on and off. This feature was added to help increase the battery life before it needed charging again.
