The default system software set is missing X application, how do I install additional software on the system?
The Openfiler distribution ships with all the requisite software to provide a fully functional NAS/SAN appliance. This means that any non essential system software has been stripped out. If you find that you require additional software packages to run on the system, you may either subscribe to the commercial support license and use the auto-update system, or download and install the software yourself. Please note however that some software packages may hinder operation of the Openfiler management interface.
