Comments on the NJDEP white papers are posted, as received, and are organized according to the individual and organization that submitted the comments. In most cases, each commenter submitted comments on multiple white papers. To date, the NJDEP received a total of 67 individual comments from 24 different individuals or organizations covering 37 of the 60 posted white papers. After reviewing and taking into consideration the comments received on the white papers, the NJDEP revised or updated the white papers as needed. The revised versions of the white papers are posted next to the original versions. The NJDEP white papers do not represent the NJDEP’s final position on the control measures discussed in the white papers; but instead, reflect the NJDEP’s thinking at this time. The NJDEP will continue to review potential control measures, both regulatory and nonregulatory, to reduce the levels of ozone and particulate matter and improve visibility in New Jersey.
