The day day before you ship out to basic training do you have to report back to MEPS?
Yes, you either go the day before and spend the night in a hotel or you go first thing the morning you ship out. First thing you do is see the doctor again for weight/height and they’ll ask you if anything has changed since your exam. Then, you swear in again, for real. Following that you’ll go to your service’s liaison office where they’ll give you instructions on how you’re going to get to basic training.
