Pocket System automatically detects and configures IP and DNS addresses that are set up with DHCP during the boot sequence. However when the IP address of a computer has been defined as static you need to manually configure IP and DNS addresses. If the computer in question has a Windows operating system installed, you can open a dos shell running the command cmd then type ipconfig followed by Enter. Now take note of the IP and Gateway addresses and then type nslookup followed by Enter and take note of the DNS address. Restart Pocket System and configure it with these values.
