The compatibility list says that the game I want to play requres MDMA-0, what does this mean, and how do I enable this?
This refers to the speed that data is transfered from the hard drive. MDMA slows down hdd access closer to the speed of the dvd drive UDMA allows for faster hdd access, which may reduce load times even more, but also breaks some games. To take advantage of these different speed settings, you used to have to have a seperate hdloader elf file for each different speed that you wanted; this is no longer the case, as the more recent versions have a speed selector built in. The speeds are selected at the splash screen by holding down a button. The list of speeds and buttons is below.
