The Christian Rapture – Will it be Pre,Mid or Post Tribulation?
The “Rapture” is a word to describe the sudden resurrection of the living and dead saints (Christians), who are also “caught away” into Heaven while God’s final judgments, fall upon the unsaved people who remain upon the earth (the Great Tribulation). The term “Rapture” is not found in the scriptures but very clear descriptions of the event certainly are. Scriptures describing the Rapture are found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 and 1Corinthians 15:50 -54. I Thes 4:16-16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
