The Change Over Occurs at a very busy time of year. How will the project ensure stability of the applications?
The CASSS project recognises that the handover date is occurs during a critical time in the University Calendar, (wrapping up year end, start of term). Accordingly the approach taken within the project is to do everything possible to ensure stability of the core MITRE applications. There will be a Restricted Change Period in operation and by the time 1st September 2010 occurs all of the necessary support for the key applications will be put in place. There will be no significant changes to the running of the MITRE applications during this time period. Any changes will occur after this date and following full consultation with MITRE Stakeholders.
