Becoming a Benefactor is essentially a way to make a financial contribution to the developers. The benefits do not affect your game success in any meaningful way: • ad-free web pages • customizable avatar (requires Flash, up to Marquis level only currently) • animated smileys for wall posting • Benefactor icon To purchase a Benefactor subscription, click on Market and find the desired subscription term under the Benefactor section. Please note that the subscription auto-renews by default, but you can configure it to expire at the end of the term.
