The beater brush on the front of the power-head does not run. What is wrong?

Try these trouble-shooting ideas: 1) Make sure the switch on the handle is pushed down toward the power head. 2) Press the red reset button on the power head. 3) If you hear the motor in the power head running but it is not turning the beater brush, then the belt is probably broken and needs replacing. Call Prowire for a replacement belt. 4) Make sure that the hose is completely pushed all the way into the inlet. The last thing to make contact is the electrical connection that runs the beater brush. Wiggle the hose as you push it into the inlet. This is often the problem when the system is brand new and the inlets are tight. As they are used, the inlets will loosen up. 5) Wiggle the hose, handle and power head to see if you can get the power head to run. Maybe there is a loose connection that is causing the problem. 6) If none of these trouble-shooting ideas help solve the problem, bring your hose and power head to Prowire for some more in depth testing.
