The bank told us that our chapter needs a “Tax Identification Number” in order to open a new checking account. How do we get one?

A. All Chapters have already been assigned a tax identification number, and your Treasurer should already have a copy of it in your permanent file. If you cannot locate it, call or email National Accountant Di Spiva (hqna@kkytbs.org); she will send you a copy of the number on the proper form. You MUST have the proper form in your file; this is not something she can just give you over the phone.
