The Automatic Study Deployer does work when I copy xml ddi files into /data folder in Nesstar 4.0?
The automatic study deployer has been removed as it is not compatible with the multilingual capabilitites. In version 4 there needs to be one DDI-file pr. language, and it turned out to be very hard to make the automatic study deployer understand this new multifile system. We acknowledge the need to be able to upload metadata (and data) to Nesstar without using Nesstar Publisher, and for that reason we are developing a tool called Nesstar Auto Publisher, which will work pretty much like the old study deployer, just that it can run outside the Nesstar-server itself, and also it provides better error-handling than the “dumb” study deployer. It is planned to be released in March/April 2011. Until then, you have to import the DDI-files into Nesstar Publisher and “publish metadata” from the Publishing-menu.
