The Audio Visual Library was much more accessible at the Flawn Academic Center location. Why didn the Libraries choose a more central location?
As we are too often made aware, there is little space on the campus of the University in which to build new space or commit existing space for new or additional use. In this particular case, the Fine Arts Library provided both a natural fit – by virtue of its similar collections and tools – and available space and resources for the incorporation of the Audio Visual Library.
