When exporting a citation from a library database, RefWorks doesn’t automatically capture the database name or other information required for an electronic citation. However, you have the opportunity to add this information when exporting citations into RefWorks. After exporting the citations from the library database, a RefWorks screen indicates that your citations have been imported. In the “Globally Edit Fields for Imported References” table, enter the database name (e.g. Academic Search Premier) and choose the “Edit Fields” button. Your citations will now be formatted as electronic article citations. If you didn’t enter the database name when exporting the citations, you can add it to one or more of your citations in RefWorks. View your references, then check mark one or more that you wish to edit. Choose the “Global Edit” button. From the drop-down menu, choose “Database,” and in the “Change Field to” box enter the database name and choose “Ok.” Then, check mark your citations aga
