The application seems slow to react when I apply transitions, effects and volume adjustments?
There is a lot going on during the mixing cycle and most of the CPU resources are being directed at responding to all your actions and in saving the mixed media correctly and efficiently. As devices have very different CPU speeds and to accommodate lower specification devices, it is necessary to direct less of the CPU resources towards the videos, images and sound feedback provided to you during the mixing operation and concentrate most of it on the background tasks being serviced. With lower specification devices, with CPU speeds of around 200 Mhz, it may appear that transitions, effects and volume adjustments are slow to react when activated, but do not be concerned, all your actions are being saved and stored correctly in the background. The playback of the created mix when viewed in the preview screen should be an accurate representation of your actions. Devices with CPU speeds of 350 Mhz and greater, should not exhibit the shortcomings referenced. In all cases, the saved creation
