If you decide your bunny is to live outside he will live a long healthy life provided you supply him with all he needs. Make sure he has a cage that has an enclosed house on one end. You will need to bed this house with an inch or two of PINE (never use cedar) shavings. In the winter you should add a good amount of Timothy hay in the box for him to burrow in. Also remember to check his water often in the cold months, water in a small bowl freezes very quickly. He will also need to be protected from the heat in the summer. His cage must ALWAYS be in the shade. You must provide cool clean drinking water through out the day. You can also offer a frozen bottle of water in his cage for him to play with & lay on.
