The Alarm Clock did not ring at the scheduled time. Why not?
Check to see if the ALARM CLOCK settings are set appropriately. When setting alarm clock, the SNOOZE, ALARM SOUND, and volume options require that the [OK/FUNC] button be pushed twice. If the button were only pushed once for any of these settings, then the settings would not have been set. Check to see if DUALTIME is set to ON. If it is, the alarm clock will sound according to the date and time settings of DUALTIME, not to the camera default date and time. Check to see if SILENT MODE is set to ON. In this mode, the camera emits no audible cues. It will not beep when capturing an image or when making menu selections, and it will not ring an alarm when the alarm clock is set and the appointed time arrives. Instead, the camera will issue a visual cue when the alarm activates while the camera is in Silent Mode. The LCD monitor will turn on and display the time. To disable Silent Mode, first place the camera into any shooting mode other than [GUIDE], and then press the [MENU] button. Press
