Apart from the pure sciences, M Sc students from hybrid areas such as Biophysics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics etc are actually encouraged to apply. The applicants should however have the minimum background in mathematics to clear the Mathematics section in the general paper I in order to qualify for the interview.
