The Accuflex Pro continues to read upwards after it beeps, is this OK?
The Accuflex Pro may have a short delay in the data transmission from the sensor to the screen (approximately 1 sec). For this reason, a change on the display could sometimes be seen after the beep. Especially if the thermometer is withdrawn quickly. However, the final temperature reading is unaffected and is in fact accurate, because the sensor will not react to lower temperatures after a higher one has been detected.
